ADN-CN-001 - Communication for Nurses

The aim of this course is to provide nursing students with the skills for therapeutic communication for nurse-patient/family interactions and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team. Students will be introduced to strategies for understanding themselves and others through a communication process. They will develop strategies and skills that will enable them to succeed in the therapeutic relationship that is fundamental to all nursing care of patients as well as in the communication within a multidisciplinary team.
